ShowNora ("Nora," "we," "us") is operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME]. Questions about this policy or your data: [CONTACT EMAIL].
We use your information only to provide and secure the Service: to run your account, analyze the documents you upload, generate summaries, timelines and drafts, and keep the Service working and safe. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your documents for advertising.
To analyze documents and answer your messages, the text and images you submit (along with relevant case details such as jurisdiction and prior summaries) are sent to an artificial-intelligence model provider, [Anthropic, PBC โ confirm the current provider and its data-use terms], through our own AI workflow server. Under that provider's commercial API terms, [confirm: inputs and outputs are not used to train its models]. Our website is hosted on [HOSTING PROVIDER / LOCATION] and sits behind Cloudflare, which relays traffic to the site and the AI workflow server. These providers process data on our behalf and only for operating the Service.
Traffic between your browser and ShowNora is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Access to your cases and documents is restricted to your own logged-in account. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not upload anything you are not comfortable storing with a web service.
We keep your account, cases, documents, and generated content until you delete them or ask us to. You can delete individual documents from your portal. To delete your account and associated data, contact [CONTACT EMAIL]. [Describe any backup retention period.]
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under privacy laws such as Canada's PIPEDA or applicable U.S. state laws. [Attorney to complete.]
Documents about family-law matters often include information about other people (a spouse, children, lawyers). You are responsible for having the right to share what you upload. Nora is not a substitute for your lawyer, and we are not able to guarantee confidentiality or privilege for what you upload.
The Service is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 18.
We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we will give notice (for example by email or an in-app notice) before they take effect.
